Doing what you say you will do, when you say you'll do it is the key to good customer service!

Customer service is what it's all about. The secret to improving your business really is as simple as doing what you say you are going to do, when you say you are going to do it!
"Your customer isn't interested in your problems!"
They don't care that you had an emergency or got bogged down in traffic or paperwork, or that your supplier had a problem. They need you to deliver what you promised because that is what they are expecting.
For most businesses, this means that you have to improve your procedures. For example, write down what you say you are going to do immediately after the phone call in which you said it and then follow up with the doing! It really is that simple!
Think you and your business is better than this? Try it! Make a conscious effort to write stuff down after each conversation or phone call, make a daily list of the little things that you blithely say you will do and then go back through your list and do them!
Before you say, "Oh, that doesn't happen in my business", think again. Be honest with yourself. Are you really that good? Because most businesses aren't.
Which is why this is a really simple technique to improve your business quickly. If you can do this consistently for 4 weeks, you will be better than your competitors, and you will convert more potential customers into actual customers.
